A Trip I Didn't Want to End
This trip was deeply emotional for me. It made me feel things I can't fully explain. It felt like the quiet, almost empty beach was calling me… telling me to come back again.
The Journey Begins
March 25, 9:30 PM. With my bag packed and everything ready, I started my journey towards Rohmotgonj. That was our meeting point. We were a group of eight, all set to travel to Cox's Bazar on a 6:15 AM train from Kamalapur the next morning.
Everyone arrived one by one, and by 10 PM, the group was complete. Though I was the last to reach, as usual. The weather that night was unbearably hot. Since our train was very early in the morning, none of us wanted to take the risk of sleeping at home. Missing the train would have been a disaster. So, as planned, we decided to spend the night at Rohan's office and leave from there before dawn.
A Night of Laughter
We stayed up the entire night talking, laughing, joking around, and just enjoying each other's company. It was one of those nights where time flies without you even noticing. Even though the heat was a bit too much, it didn't really matter.
Before we knew it, morning arrived. It was time to head to the station. We reached Kamalapur around 5:20–5:25 AM, found our platform, and got ready for the journey. Right on time, the train started moving.
Arrival at Cox's Bazar
The journey itself was full of fun, music, stories, and endless conversations. Then finally, around 2:40 PM, we reached Cox's Bazar.
From there, we reserved an auto and took the Marine Drive route to our camping spot at Pechwardip. Our destination was Marine Bay Glamping Beach Resort.
I've been to Cox's Bazar four times before, but this trip felt completely different. Without a doubt, it was the most beautiful one of my life. Every moment felt special, like something I didn't want to miss or forget.
Three Days of Magic
We stayed for three days, but honestly, it felt like the trip ended before it even properly began.
There was a small spot in the resort, right beside the beach, a simple place where tea and snacks were served. It was like a mini restaurant. We spent most of our nights there. In just two nights, we probably had around 50 cups of tea.
The Bittersweet End
On the night before we had to leave, everyone was busy, some were playing Ludo, some UNO, some chess, and others playing block games. But in the middle of all that fun, I suddenly felt a strange sadness. The thought of leaving the next day hit me hard.
I started missing the moments even before they were over.
Destination Doesn't Matter, People Do
That's when I realized something very important — when you travel, the destination matters, but the people you travel with matter a hundred times more. I always say this: "Destination doesn't matter, people do."
No matter where you go, your happiness depends on who you're with. And my travel mates? They're incredibly fun. Every single moment with them is something to enjoy and remember.
This trip was deeply emotional for me. It made me feel things I can't fully explain. It felt like the quiet, almost empty beach was calling me… telling me to come back again.
